Chelsey Gauthier was born in Timmins and raised in the Niagara Region. Chelsey attended law school at the University of Exeter, in England, where she had the pleasure of spending three years abroad while obtaining her LL.B. While there, she co-founded the Women & Law Committee and helped organize and create the Community Law Clinic. She volunteered with the Community Law Clinic and with Witness Services, participated in negotiation tournaments, and worked as a research associate while completing her studies. Upon graduating with Honours, Chelsey returned home to complete her articles with a family law firm and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2019.
Chelsey is a former Board Member of the Pathstone Mental Health Foundation and enjoys being an active community member. Chelsey is a panel member of Legal Aid Ontario, representing parents and individuals in family law matters. Along with her family law practice, Chelsey’s practice also involves wills.
In 2024, Chelsey’s family relocated to Kirkland Lake, where she joined the team at Chamaillard Law Professional Corporation. She is proud to offer services in English and French.
